For the multiplayer adventure included in the Game Boy Advance version see The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords.

The third game in Nintendo's famous The Legend of Zelda series, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is a genre-defining action-adventure that returns the series to its roots with gameplay more like that of the original The Legend of Zelda while introducing many new staples to the series. Link travels through many varied dungeons in his strenuous quest to restore order to Hyrule.
