In the intro video, Todd, is shown taking photos of an elusive pink creature. The Pokémon darts outside of the frame of his camera lens before turning into a ball of energy and disappearing into the sky. Todd shakes his fist in frustration as the video ends.

Hello there, Todd! I'm Oak, the Pokémon professor. The reason I invited you here is this PKMN Report. I'd like for you to take pictures of Pokémon for the PKMN Report. Here on Pokémon Island, wild Pokémon can be found everywhere. This is my new invention: the ZERO-ONE Vehicle. You can take this on your trip.
