Pros

• Very fast attackers, nearly as the Rogues.
• Interesting abilities, as well as one AoE ability at first job.
• Literally, the Gunslinger flies.
• In the Infighter job, the user has physical AoE abilities.

Cons

• A little bit difficult to get used to.
• The Float ability is not so useful if trying to get out.
• The pirate equipment is a little bit expensive for a beginner.

Beginners

Being new to Maple means that you will need some guidance. In this case, you will raise a future Pirate, meaning that you will need correct stats. As you will see further, the most necessary attributes for this job would be the Strength and Dexterity, Intelligence as well as Luck you may leave it at 4 or 5, but is up to you this part of the raising of your character. Note: If you want to build a Gunslinger, it is to consider getting the highest Dex when building this char. Meanwhile, if you try to build an Infighter is up to you to get the most str. at it's creation.

Maple Island

Being a future Gunslinger will mean u a great accuracy if talking about the atk, as well as a moderated chance to avoid the monsters' attacks. So it is to consider to train with stumps, and slow creatures like snails of the three colors. If you are becoming an Infighter, u may train with stronger creatures like pigs, or mushrooms... consider to train first with slower creatures.

First Job: Pirate

1st job To become a pirate, you have to make a build similar to a bowman or warrior. Rolling dices in beginning should look like:

• Strength: Doesn't matter
• Dexterity: Doesn't matter
• Intelligence: 4 (preferably)
• Luck: 4 (preferably)

(Also, if you want to become a strengthless gunslinger you should get 13 dex and 4 in everything else)

To get the Job advancement, you'll be going to a new town called Nautilus Port (To reach this place you go through a portal in Victorian Island: Forest East of Henesys)

To make the Job Advancement, these are the requirements:

• At least 20 dex and level 10
• Then talk to Kairin, who will be like all the other 1st Job tutors.
• She'll give you 1 skill point for you to use.

Now this is where you make your choice, a sharp shooter, or a brass knuckle.
