Gourmet Ogre is probably one of the only bosses in this game that does not have to be stunned to be taken down. To make things even better for the Prinnies, the boss has no moves that prevent the Prinnies from hitting him. Even a standing slash can hit the Gourmet Ogre as long as you're not in the direct path of his attacks.

If you want to take him as more of a practice enemy, rush him after his fireball attack and Hip-bump him twice, then lay into him with the air slashes. The Ogre might get a little tricky and pass gas if you hang out behind him too much, but otherwise it should be easy enough to take care of him even if the direct approach isn't your thing.
