The Legend of Zelda is a groundbreaking action/adventure game released by Nintendo in 1986. It is the first game in Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda series.
General Plot
A long time ago, the evil sorcerer Gannon stole the Triforce of Power. At the time of the theivery, Princess Zelda owned the Triforce of Wisdom. To prevent Gannon from getting it, she divided it into eight pieces and hid it before she was kidnapped. Now, Link must find the eight pieces of the Triforce to defeat Gannon and rescue the princess.
