Byleth is well known for his or her appearance "Fire Emblem Three Houses" and the spin off "Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes" in which the roles were swapped for a new student character. Lastly, he also appears as a ring companion in "Fire Emblem Engage" and is also seen in "Fire Emblem Heroes".

Overall characteristics[edit]

As with many other characters like Wii Trainer, Pokemon Trainer, Robin, Corrin, Villager, Inkling and Steve, there's a gender palette and voice swap. Probably what's the most common in the Fire Emblem series is your avatar plays an important part depending on which game you own. For example, Robin and Corrin's gender can be altered from the 3DS games.

Anyway, your character is pretty much a powerhouse. Unlike the other Fire Emblem weapon and magic fighters, you'll be using a combination of weapons based on "Fire Emblem Three Houses" or "Warriors Three Hopes" main leader's weapons including your own. Simply, you own a sword of creation, Dimitri's lance, Claude's bow and Edelgard's axe.

Strengths, flaws and strategies[edit]

Here's a tip in using Byleth against one or many in a match. And how to deal with the same character on the opposite end as well. When using Byleth, it's really all about timing. Your special moves using special side and down has power that could knock an opponent away depending on the percentage damage you've inflicted so far. In particular, use special down a few seconds with minimum interference to knock many opponents out of the screen.

Using special up has some unique uses. You can attack an enemy above you and to keep you falling into the pit, use it a few times to reach a ledge and attack it to lift you up from the ledge and back into the battlefield. Using neutral special requires timing as well. Tapping it will take a second for an arrow to lightly hit an opponent. But hold it for more than three seconds for a powerful arrow hit.

However, Byleth's powerful weapons can make the character slower than the other Fire Emblem characters in this game. After all, this character is not well known for speed. And it takes practice in when the time to use those moves just right. Including the grappling technique depending on the difficulty set in the game.

When you go against Byleth, using maybe Bowser or a speed character like Sonic, to try to chip away its defence until you're ready to knock it out of the screen. It's best to keep your distance and use your defensive techniques as her special moves can be very hard to dodge. If you do get close enough be quick with your attacks before it gets a chance to respond and perhaps give you a better chance of winning.

Byleth's Smash attack is involves getting close to at least three opponents with your sword whip. Make sure you use it when your opponent's percentage meter is above 50 percent to get a knockout. If you're successful, it will show the power of you and Sothis, using their power together. But if you're against Byleth, it's best to avoid it and keep your distance to save you from having a worse fate of losing points or lives, depending on what mode are you playing.

Overall, Byleth is a character not to be underestimated. Despite her moderately slow-paced movement, with enough practice with the timing, her special moves will become incredibly handy as one of the most power weapon character in Fire Emblem and Super Smash Bros history.
