Collect all but one of the outside Heart Frames in order to activate the first Arrow Tile power.
Use the Arrow Tile power on any arrow tile that is not in the middle. For example, use it on the highest of the three right arrow tiles.
Step inside and collect all four Heart Frames in order to activate the second Arrow Tile power.
Step back out and begin pushing the two Emerald Frames on the same side as the arrow tile you turned into the inner portion of the room, in place of where the Heart Frames used to sit (between two Skulls). Always fill the side further from the arrow tile you turned first. For example, if you turned the highest arrow tile on the right, fill the lower right space first.
Now use the second Arrow Tile power on the other side of the room, again on any tile excpet the middle one. Once again, slide the remaining Emerald Frames in place of the Heart Frames.
Collect the last Heart Frame on the outside. If you did it right, the Skulls should be immobile thanks to the Emerald Frames as well as the grass, and you can collect the key without fear.
Walk up to the upper left corner of the room. Push the two outer Emerald Frames to the left, and push the center frame up. Collect the three Heart Frames inside to obtain two egg shots as well as activate the Ladder power.
Push the lower frame to the right, across the bridge, and over to the column of boulders. Then push it down to the Emerald Frame below, and push it right two spaces to the right wall so it blocks the Gol below.
Walk to the left and stand next to the water so that you can lay the bridge down to the opposite side. Be sure to place it where the opposite path is clear.
Walk across the bridge, follow the path, and push the Emerald Frame down two spaces. Then stand to its left and push it right two spaces.
Walk down and stand to the left of the Snakey. Shoot it twice to remove it, and stand on the opposite side of its position, but do not collect the Heart Frame yet.
Stand there and wait for the Snakey to come back. When it does, collect the last Heart Frame.
Shoot the Snakey and push it to the left, blocking the Gol, and follow the path back to the ladder you placed.
Cross the ladder, but before you head up the right wall to collect the key, face the Gol along the top wall and shoot it to turn it into an egg. Then quickly run up and collect the key before the egg hatches.
Head straight down and collect the middle Heart Frame along the bottom wall. Then cross the bridges to the right to the center island, and cross the bridges up to collect a Heart Frame in the corner of the upper island for two egg shots.
Return down and to the left and stand next to the Snakey that sits between a Heart Frame and the bridge. Shoot it twice to remove it from the screen and collect the Heart Frame beyond for two more egg shots.
Now shoot the Snakey directly above the Heart Frame along the bottom wall once. Push the egg into the water and walk across it to collect the Heart Frame below for two more egg shots. At this point, if you're quick enough, you can walk back across the egg to the island above and continue. If not, you can use a bridge to get back up.
Walk down to the patch of land along the bottom wall, and shoot the lower left Skull twice to remove it from the screen and collect the Heart Frame in the middle of the Skulls. This will activate the second Ladder power which you may or may not need.
Follow the bridges to the upper right corner of the room near the Gol. Stand in the lower left corner of the island, facing the Heart Frame across the water, and use your Ladder power to get across and collect the Heart Frame in the upper right corner of the island.
Push the Emerald Frame below you down two spaces. Collect the Heart Frame in the center of the island, and push the Emerald Frame beyond it to the left at least three spaces.
Now collect the last two Heart Frames and head immediately for the key. If you are quick, the Skulls should not be able to get near you, and the Gol's fireball should not reach you before you grab the key. (If you're worried about the Skulls, you can push the Emerald Frame that was to the left of the center Heart Frame back to the right so that it blocks off access to the upper left island.)
Collect the three obtainable Heart Frames near the bottom of the room (you'll get two egg shots), and then cross either sandy path to either of the upper Snakeys.
Face the one of the Snakeys, shoot it once, push the egg into the water, and hop on the egg. It will float down the channel between the two islands. As it does, get off on one side, collect the Heart Frame on that island, and then cross back over to the other island to collect the other Heart Frame. Then hop back on the egg to continue riding it.
The egg will stop above the final Heart Frame. Get off the egg and collect the frame. Then shoot the Snakey below twice to remove it from the screen and collect the key.
Walk up the right wall, and push the left Emerald Frame up two spaces. Collect the Heart Frame in the upper right corner for two egg shots.
Come down to the two Snakeys on the right. Shoot one once and push it left and up below the Don Medusa. Come back and shoot the other one once and push it further left and up below the Medusa. The eggs don't have to end up touching either enemy, they just need to block their view of you as you cross along the bottom. Collect the center Heart Frame.
Walk up the left wall, and push the right Emerald Frame up two spaces. Collect the Heart Frame in the upper left corner. Then return down for the key.
