Four small energy capsules appear after every battle with a Maverick. They recover a total of 8 hit points.

You should try to defeat some enemies using the Shoryuken. Since this weapon's trajectory is upwards (at an angle), the best victims are Mavericks that jump over X or fly.

You can start with these Mavericks:

  1. Overdrive Ostrich performs an attack by jumping and stopping in mid-air whenever it is hit by the Crystal Hunter; a good target for the Shoryuken!
  2. Morph Moth requires two hits by the Shoryuken, one per form.
  3. Flame Stag jumps and climbs the walls, but it moves quickly sideways; here, the success of the Shoryuken is a matter of chance.

The remaining five Mavericks are even more tricky to get with the Shoryuken.
