Head downstairs and out of the house, and explore Pallet Town. You head to the professor. But they aren't at the lab. If you head out to Route 1, you find him with some Pidgey. He then notices you, and decided to go to the lab. But then, a Pikachu spawned. Oak wasn't sure a Pikachu was supposed to appear around here. But that this presented itself, practice Pokėmon catching.
In this game, you point the Joy-Con on the screen, then take the joy-con down a bit, this is like catching a Pokemon in real life. So dull caught absolutely give the soul. You can also make a Paper Made Pokè Ball. Make it carefully, and create a Pokemon, and then you caught the Pokemon. That's how it is in real life, even you caught a Pokemon, in REAL-LIFE! Keep the Pokemon for full gameplay and- NO! The Pikachu escapes. You get the Pikachu and start the revolution.
As you explore the Kanto region, you meet 8 different gym leaders, beat the Elite Four and become the new Kanto Champion. You first travel to Pewter City. Here, you defeat the Rock gym leader. On a trip to Mt. Moon, the player has their first run-in with Ace Trainers. Ace-Trainers are coach trainer's. When you reach Mt. Moon, you have your first attack with Team Rocket. And you are in this situation until you beat them. The player then meets them again at the end of Mt. Moon, where the Team Rocket grunts decide to defeat you in Pokemon Battle.

You later appear in Cerulean City. Here, you defeat Misty. Before this, you encounter The Nugget Bridge and encounter your rival once again. This time, he is a lot stronger than before. You also could have encountered the bonus or maybe to you "secret battle".

Once you invesigated, you reach a Sea Cottage. You investigate, and it's time to go back to Cerulean City to defeat Misty, the Water-Type Gym Leader. Traveling by Route 5, you find your rival in front of The Grand Undergroud, you then go to S.S. Anne. Earlier, you got tickets. Once you get there, you spot a lot of doors, you have another rival battle, and learn Chop Down to enter the Vermillion Gym, you then travel to Lavender Town, where it gets a bit sad. Travel to Team Rocket Hideout in Celadon City, get the Silph.Co to identify Ghosts. Beat the Celadon Gym, and then get a flute so you can progress and defeat Snorlax. Make your way to Fuchsia City. Defeat the gym and travel to Saffron City. Here, you get a Master Ball for defeating Giovanni for (hopefully) the last time. You then beat the gym there and travel to Fuchsia City once again.
Next, you go to the Seafoam islands. You catch Articuno, and the player enters the Pokemon Mansion is Cinnabar Island. After defeating Blaine, go to the town of Pallet. But here, you have absolutely, no eighth gym. You then see your rival try to open up the gym. At the lab, Oak, the Pokemon professer, has Blue along, and gives you Mega Evolve. Use it on either, one of the starters of Pokemon Blue you can rarely catch, or get a certain amount of Pokemon. After defeating the gym, you battle your rival once more.
After defeating Moltres at Victory Road, the player advances to the final trip, the Pokemon League. Here, you fight all the Pokemon elite four with all you got. Defeat the champion and- SHOCK! The rival is the champion.
You can also challenge Mewtwo in Post-Game. You can beat Master Trainers, and attack Zapdos at the Power Plant. After defeating 6 master trainers, battle Red. But warning you, his Pokemon are Level 85. And the gym leader rematches, well, Level 60. However, Blue is a Level 70 attack. Beat the Elite Four again.
