Quake II guide[edit]

Hi Bayram. Thanks for all the effort that you've been putting into the Quake II guide. The one thing I think it really needs is images. Maps would be awesome, screenshots would be excellent as well. Give them some thought and let me know if you need any help. Thanks again. Procyon 22:28, 13 November 2015 (UTC)

Wait, am I supposed to reply here or on your talk page? Anyway, per your request, I'm going to do my best to figure out how to add images to the Quake II pages. Let me know if I violate any rules or policies. Bayram (talk) 01:42, 17 November 2015 (UTC)
Hey Bayram, thanks so much. Where you reply is up to you. If it's a non-admin, it's usually better to reply on the other person's page unless you can be sure that they will be smart enough to look on your talk page for a response. If it's an admin, we usually patrol the recent changes, and we'll know if you wrote back to us. The uploads look great, good categories and everything. The screenshots are really going to take your guide up a level. Keep up the great work! Procyon 01:53, 17 November 2015 (UTC)
I just wanted to reiterate my thanks for all the work that you've put into this. Both the quality of your work, and your dedication to the guide, are extraordinary. Procyon 14:15, 10 June 2016 (UTC)

File redirects[edit]

Please don't delete file redirects like this. It leaves a broken image in its place. Someone may eventually delete it properly, otherwise it's not a big impact. -- Prod (talk) 15:51, 17 April 2016 (UTC)

OK, but I created the need for the redirect by uploading a file with the wrong name and then fixing it within minutes, so I know absolutely that the redirect is just clutter and is safe to delete. I guess, though, that I don't know how to delete a page.
Only admins can delete pages, so we look through redirects now and then to clean them up. Nice work with the Quake II guide so far! You may want to look at updating the completion level if you feel it's ready. -- Prod (talk) 17:33, 17 April 2016 (UTC)
Ah, understood. My bad, then. Thanks for the tip about completion level, I wasn't aware of that. I've quite a way to go before I'm done, but the level probably needs an update based on my progress so far. Thanks for the encouragement. Bayram (talk) 00:31, 21 April 2016 (UTC)
