Easier editing

The Show preview button (right next to the Save page button) lets you see how your changes will look before saving the page. You can use Show preview as many times as you like until you get the page how you want it. You can also edit the whole page at one time, as opposed to by section, by clicking the Edit tab at the top of the page. Hopefully these little shortcuts will make it easier for you to get the desired result when you're editing, and save you a little time. Admins have to verify each edit to the site. Please do not edit a page 41 times in one day. That's a lot of extra work for people to do. Use the Show Preview button, and only save the page once you are certain that you have it formatted the way you like. Procyon 00:44, 18 October 2023 (UTC)

Understood. Is there a good place in the site guide to document that admins verify edits so that contributors know about that cost? I am used to wikis that prefer granular edits, and though StrategyWiki:Guide/Preview_and_save does express a preference for condensed page histories, contributors like me who have already used MediaWiki elsewhere are not likely to look at a page with that title.
