Dural is a cyborg working for the mysterious Judgment organization, revealed in the prequel to be the mother of Kage-Maru. As in its predecessor, Dural acts as the final boss of Virtua Fighter 2 and can only be unlocked by inputting a code. Highlight Akira on the character select screen and input the following: + + + +  ; if done correctly, Akira's image will be replaced by Dural's.

With unique special attacks taken from each fighter on the roster, Dural shapes up to be an extremely well-rounded fighter. Although her speed doesn't match up to Sarah's, her quickness is still well above-average. Additionally, she has access to powerful counters for defensive stances and a selection of strong attacks from other fighters, such as Akira's Body Check, Jacky's Kickflip, and Wolf's Giant Swing; these are moves which are capable of causing 60-100 points of damage. Combo the Giant Swing into an air combo and your opponent won't have much health left. Sarah's Elbow, Knee combo is also a useful string to keep in mind, as its excellent recovery time makes it one of the more useful combos of the bunch. Overall, Dural acts as one of the easier-to-play characters, aided by her power status as final boss of the game; add to her attacks her speed and you have heavy combos with quick start-ups and quick recoveries between frames.
