One of the rarer maps in the game, Panama Canal is a vacated, ruined port with lots of hiding places for tight infantry fights. The Conquest version of this map is the largest Conquest map in the game with respect to bases.

Also be aware that Panama Canal has a lot of back alley areas and alternate routes that provide infantry far more mobility than vehicles. Always be on the lookout for positions to launch and receive sneak attacks.

Official Description: Explore what is left of the large port of Panama Canal as you drive along with your tank, evading land mines and enemy soldiers who have you in their RPG sights.

Extended Description: Units in contact are being rotated out as a result of combat fatigue. Weeks of fighting have left the harbor in ruins and the surrounding area littered with destroyed equipment. Armored movement is hampered and deadly kill zones mar the ground. U.S Forces as staging an assault of the industrialize port with the objective to seize, retain and exploit the area. Control of the canal will allow larger-scale Strategic Operations along the South West Pacific coast.

Conquest[edit]

The Conquest version of Panama Canal adds a smattering of vehicles in addition to the standard infantry combat that appears in the other two game modes. Panama Canal Conquest enables players to use the large highway to the east of the main port section for some vehicle fighting. The rest of the map, however, is cramped and makes vehicles easy pickings for Engineers with launchers.

Squad Rush[edit]

The US team spawns in the warehouse, a short distance to the construction site that the Russians must defend.

Construction Site[edit]

The Russians' M-COM station is located inside a half-completed building with not a lot of cover around it. The best method to defend this M-COM will be to surround the M-COM and attack anyone who attempts to arm it from the sides.

Comm Depot[edit]

The final M-COM station the Russians must hold onto is located in the comm center. This large structure has far more opportunities for the defenders to hide in, though the surrounding walls may be destroyed via 40mm grenades or other explosives.

Outcomes[edit]

At the end of the match, a short cutscene will play, depending on which side won. There is one cutscene for each side, but the dialogue that follows varies greatly.

If the Americans win, a wing of Hornets bomb the Russian deployment area.

If the Russians win, a wing of Su-25s bomb the American deployment area.
